Detail of right trophy after treatment. Heavy tape adhesive residue could only be lightly toned. Removal of the residue was not possible without risk to the varnish.

Detail of bottom of the fragment after treatment with toned inserts. Additional inpainting with dry media helped suggest some of the texture of faux graining in the background of the rest of the fragment.
